Take the Deployment Dare

Have you read the book “The Love Dare” or watched the movie “Fireproof”? You may have had the thought, “What good is it to do ‘The Love Dare’ when we’re so far apart during this deployment?” Actually, in some ways, The Love Dare is easier to do while separated! Don’t let Satan deceive you into thinking that it is not possible to grow together when duty calls you apart!

We want to help you think about things that will refresh and comfort you during this time of war. We want you to have hope! We know that there is a battle in the mind—a spiritual battle against discouragement and fear., but for those who persevere under trial, there are great promises.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” – James 1:2-4

So, we created “40 Days of the Deployment Dare,” as an online devotional offering daily ideas to complement what the Kendrick brothers, the authors of “The Love Dare,” have written so well.

If you and your spouse are separated by deployment but want to grow closer to each other and deal with the challenges of marriage, add the Deployment Dare comments each day to what the authors have “dared.”

Join us online each day for your “Deployment Dare.”

“Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” Mark 10:9
