From Joe To You

“ I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”.
John 16:33 (ESV)

My heart aches for what our great nation is going through. I’m especially torn because I – like you – have a special understanding of the unique stresses and pressures the men and women in our armed forces are going through at this time.

Those who are deployed in combat zones not only face daily danger, they also see the fracturing of society back home and are worried for their families. Their stress is unreal.

They see the continued expansion of the COVID virus, concerned their loved ones are in danger. Meanwhile, those at home are scared not only for the danger that comes to those in harm’s way, but also the staggering realization that they have no way to practice “social distancing” or other safety measures we can easily take here at home.

I’m distraught when I realize that our African American personnel who are bravely and heroically sacrificing themselves to protect our freedoms may not be treated with the respect and dignity they deserve when they return home . . . simply because of the color of their skin.

Now more than ever the devil is doing everything he can to destroy our heroes. To leave their lives and their families in ruins. Emotionally, physically, and especially spiritually so many are being overwhelmed.

Let’s change that.  Let’s take the battle to the enemy.  By equipping the members of our military family with the tools they need to fight in this spiritual battle. That’s what our Military SFRS enhancement is all about.

Please consider how you can help these men and women of valor as they serve us. Write letters of encouragement – even to those you don’t know. Send care packages.  Pray for them daily.  I know from my own experience that these small acts of kindness mean so much.

And please, continue to support our efforts to bring Christ to all of our military personnel.

He is the healer; He is our rock; He is the victor in this battle we face. More and more of our military are seeking answers in these troubled times. The answer is Jesus.

Now more than ever our nation, our military and all our people need healing. Let’s bring them the solution. When you support Cru Military, it’s you who are making it possible.

Sharing Christ together,

Joe Ludwikowski
