Ministering to Combat Trauma / PTS
Combat Trauma and PTS are not just psychological conditions they are spiritual as well. We believe that faith truly makes a difference in helping you and your family recover and heal from the wounds of war. We have resources to assist you as you take the steps of courage necessary to find the peace, the calm, the healing that God can bring. However, this journey is not one you must take alone. We are working to train up a nation-wide support team – local churches and congregations – who want to stand with you, encourage you and help you see the Hope-Giver, Jesus Christ.
Cru Military has developed biblically based resources for service members, their families, and professional and lay counselors who minster to them. Find encouragement and faith in God while facing difficult battles at home and in defense of our country. The Bridges to Healing initiative launched in 2007 to motivate and train churches to become Bridges to Healing for our military service men and women who are confronting Combat Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The E-Kit video seminar was developed to make the BTH available online. Its purpose expanded beyond just the need to address PTS. The goal is broader: Engage the Military in your Midst.
