Prayers for Military Ministries of Africa

There are so many reasons we all need prayer around the world as more and more disruptions to everyday life are experienced. Recently, two staff members and one of their sons serving with the ministry in Ethiopia were killed by a militia group operating in one of the regions of the country. This type of violence affects how and when ministry can happen all over the country. Pray for the families of the victims as they mourn and all the other staff who were close to these men and their teenager because they were murdered senselessly.

Another Military Ministry of Cru country asking for prayer is Cote d’Ivoire. The Ivorian Minister of Defense needs our prayers for healing from the Covid19 virus. He said, “This is an opportunity for me to remind all of our fellow citizens that coronavirus is a real disease that is spreading quickly.” He also called on Ivoirians to observe all protective measures. Prayers are needed to keep the disease from spreading throughout the military forces of Cote d’Ivoire. Many leaders in the military in the country now have been trained in the Leader Impact training. Pray the experience will result in boldness to share about Jesus with their fellow military friends.
