Go ahead. Shoot me.

Have you ever wondered if God really cares about what happens to you as you live life?

Quite frankly, the thought had never entered my mind while living some of life’s most difficult experiences. Instead, I was thinking, “Now what?”

It wasn’t until later in my life after truly taking the time to reflect was I surprised at all of the interventions God had done along my journey in life. The title of the book, “Go Ahead…Shoot Me” is actually a quote straight out of my mouth during what I call the dark period of my life.

It was during a desperate situation when my Military Policeman husband, serving in the Army, had a loaded pistol aimed at my head. I was in such a despondent downward spiral that it seemed like a good way to be rid of the life I was living. Many years later, I realized that my husband, who had just returned from a year-long deployment to Vietnam, had a raging case of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and we had no name for it.

Be ready to read what really happened as I encountered some life-changing moments trying to fix problems on my own. You will find out how God stepped in and intervened, and eventually taught me how to trust and love again using God-principles instead of Sherry-principles. Let me know what you think!
