This series of books was written by Sherry Barron, a Cru Military staff member, for children whose parents may have combat trauma. Christ-centered, positive and practical tools and information are creatively set in the age-appropriate books. All three books are enriched with illustrations by animator and storyteller, Nick Adducci (BangarangAnimation.com). Each book in the series follows the topical structure of the highly praised book When War Comes Home by Chris and Rahnella Adsit and Marshéle Carter Waddell.

A Guide for Young Children Whose Parents May Have Combat Trauma is an activity and coloring book that tells the story of Cody and Carrie, and their dog Abby, whose daddy has come home from a deployment overseas. Biblical principles are presented through key verses, prayer, and Bible study.
