Destroyed Ukraine Warehouse
Posted in: Stories
On the evening of Aug 28th, the warehouse and office of Ukraine for Christ’s humanitarian ministry was destroyed. Since June 2022, they had prepared 175,000 food boxes at this warehouse, including Yellow boxes (food plus spiritual resources), Christmas boxes, and special boxes for military personnel. They also received more than 600 tons of humanitarian aid from our partners in Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria.
This was more than a storage facility. It became a hub where more than 1,000 volunteers from different churches and charitable organizations served over the years. In addition to preparing food boxes, shipping containers were converted into homes for displaced families. Through this warehouse, the ministry was able to serve displaced people, families of those who had been killed, chaplains, and veterans across Ukraine.
Please pray for wisdom, strength, and clarity about the next steps. We don’t believe this will end Ukraine for Christ’s ministry in the area. God will give the opportunities to continue this ministry and to bring the hope of the Gospel, which Ukrainians need more and more with each passing day.
