How do you know God personally and become spiritually fit and ready to serve in the military?
Everything about Cru Military and what we do is based on a single truth we call the gospel (or good news) of Jesus Christ. This video will explain why Jesus truly is good news for a broken world… and our broken lives.
What is the Good News we are talking about?
We are in a world that is broken and breaking into still smaller pieces. The truth is we too are broken. Experience tells us how hard it is to keep those pieces together and how little hope we have to make it right.
Our sins have been paid for. He has made available the gift of eternal life. He has made it possible for us to experience wholeness, truth, honor and purpose. But we have another choice to make. We must choose to accept that gift in order to experience the life God designed for us... or we can reject it and choose to remain separated from God forever. You accept the gift by talking to God (which is called prayer). An example of what you could say is below. The words don't matter so much as the attitude of your heart.

So Jesus Christ came and lived a sinless life (one that did not earn the penalty of death)... and then took on the penalty we earned, so that we would not have to die. The Bible says, "Christ had no sin, but God made him become sin so that in Christ we could be right with God.” — 2 Corinthians 5:21 ERV
Three days after Jesus died and was buried, he rose to life and lives still. He conquered death!

PRAY THIS:
“Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and that I need you to forgive me. I know that you died a painful death so that my sins could be forgiven. Thank you. I trust you as my Savior and want you to be the Lord of my life. Make me the person you want me to be. Amen.”
