Faithfulness in Healing Our World
Finding Hope in Struggle
During Christ’s first Advent, the known world was one of great upheaval and change. But the Lord was doing some of His most important work against the backdrop of such chaos and challenges. The same can be said now for His work in the nation of Ukraine. The Lord is using the Military Ministry of Ukraine to bring hope and healing to this war-torn nation. Our faithful staff and volunteers of Ukraine for Christ Military Ministry haven’t slowed down for a minute in sharing the Lord’s goodness and healing purposes in Ukraine.
They recently addressed scores of Christian leaders from all over Eastern Europe on how others can serve, recruit and network to train leaders on how to reach military members in their own countries. An area we’re especially excited about was the completion of the translation work on “Making Your Marriage Deployment Ready”. They have spearheaded the introduction of these new resources to help marriages and families deal with the challenges of military life and deployments. One military spouse in Ukraine shared, “With our husbands deploying to the front so often, this book is a God send!”
Resources Are Just One Way
Bringing hope and healing through the Military Ministry of Cru’s world-class resources is just one way we’re making a difference bysharing Christ’s love and hope around the world. Whether it’s sharing the Gospel with widows in war-torn Ukraine; getting our world-class combat-trauma materials to trauma sufferers on the African continent; or equipping first-responders in earthquake shattered Nepal, you can find one of our international staff or volunteers, hard at work sharing the Good News of Christ. Just like our staff and volunteers in Ukraine. They start where they are; use what they have, and do what they can.
We encourage you to explore our site to learn about our international work and military marriage resources. Discover how YOU too can make a difference where you are, with what you have, and doing what you can with Cru Military.
