Serving Christ Around the World

One of the great joys we have as a global ministry is the opportunity to recognize and appreciate the contributions of military members and families all around the world as they serve both their nation and Christ!

“I know it is God who showed me great love when I hit rock bottom. Now that my faith is solid in Christ, serving with MMK allows me to pursue souls who need Christ as much as I did!”

Lt. Col. Peter Karuki, our volunteer Director of Military Ministry Kenya (MMK), relayed to us about our wonderful team ministering to the Kenya Defense Force (KDF). Their excellent reputation for Christ-like love inspired a senior Kenyan chaplain to ask if they would spearhead an outreach to military members and their families in their Kahawa Barracks. One key volunteer, Newman, who also serves in the KDF said, “I know it is God who showed me great love when I hit rock bottom. Now that my faith is solid in Christ, serving with MMK allows me to pursue souls who need Christ as much as I did!” Couples connected to our ministry this year are now preparing to hold a couples seminar this month as a way to thank God for His work in their marriages as they reach out to other military couples.

As the International Directors of the Military Ministry of Cru, both Daryl and Martha Jones have seen first-hand the power of showing appreciation to those who serve in uniform not just in the U.S., but around the world as well. They shared, “As a ministry, it is our great joy, and responsibility, to have our appreciation show up tangibly as we seek to help our worldwide team prevail in the spiritual battles to win their nations to Christ.”

We can’t think of a greater honor than joining the Joneses and our worldwide team in making an eternal difference in the lives of troops and families globally!
