In Mongolia, team members of Military Ministry, a division of Cru Military, are seeing significant ministry opportunities where future leaders of the military and police are developed and trained. In fact, in just one year at these facilities, spiritual multiplication took place four times or more as new disciples reached out to make even more disciples, creating four generations of new believers. We praise the Lord so many new leaders have embraced their responsibilities to be truly “multiplying disciples” where God has called them!
Cadets Team
The Cadets Team, a division of the Centurions Ministry, focuses ministry outreaches at the two main universities: Defense University (similar to the West Point Academy) and Law Enforcement University (similar to the FBI’s National Academy). As the students arrived at these universities, the Cadets Team focused the next two months on personal evangelism and active outreach events like seminars on “Leadership and Ethics.” One seminar on “Effective Study” was attended by more than 200 cadets, and 18 new believers joined weekly Bible study groups and the weekly cadets’ meetings.
All the students were then invited to Bible study groups to build them in their faith. The team also conducted seminars and training that was divided into three levels: one for new believers on how to share their faith; one for older disciples on how to conduct follow-up, form discipleship groups, and get involved in local churches; and an advanced training for key volunteers and disciples in spiritual movement building and spiritual leadership.
Then a team of seven core students and cadets led by a staff member went on a mission trip to a southern region of Mongolia. The mission team shared the gospel with over 50 people, and 21 accepted Jesus. They connected these new believers to the local churches for community and discipleship. The team also reached out to military personnel in the countryside. They were able to visit some past graduates who are now officers, encouraging them in their military service as well as their walk with Christ.
Multiplication
When new cadets arrive, the spiritual multiplication will begin again as they Win, Build, and Send the men and women of the military into the far reaches of Mongolia to reach others.
In the nation of Mongolia, we clearly see the Lord’s sovereign hand fashioning and equipping future leaders to embrace their calling to multiply their spiritual influence among their fellow leaders. We’re so grateful for the prayers and support for this vital and ongoing work that we know are directed toward Mongolia and future leaders of true Christ-like character!
